Board of Trustees
Our Board of Trustees is comprised of veteran economic justice activists, human rights lawyers and seasoned project administrators. It has 5 members and the Board sits twice year to provide strategic leadership, organizational direction and overall oversight of the organization.
The Board of Trustees is the principal policy and decision-making body of BVTA. It administers the organisation in trust on behalf of the members. The Board of Trustees also plays a custodial role providing oversight on the organisation and playing an advisory role to the General Council. The Board is responsible for the overall leadership and governance of the organisation at a strategic level. The Board of Trustees consists of founder members and other members appointed on merit of their commitment, expertise, knowledge and experience in various portfolios relevant to BVTA.
