Bulawayo Vendors and Traders Association is a membership based organisation of vendors and informal traders that exists to expand economic opportunities for the urban poor in Bulawayo. BVTA’s work includes identifying existing policy and legal constraints facing informal traders, seeking solutions and conscientising its members about their socio-economic rights as enshrined in the Constitution of Zimbabwe. BVTA was registered through a Deed of Trust in Bulawayo on the 30th of October 2015.
